ded·i·ca·tion: noun which means; complete and wholehearted devotion, especially to a career, ideal, etc; Selfless devotion.
When I think of Albert that’s one of the first words that comes to mind (the second being house cat but that’s another tale for another time). Albert works an ungodly hour each morning to be able to survive. He wakes up most days at 4:30am and rides his bike a couple miles to get to the trolley that takes him the rest of the way. He then gets off with a few hours left before it gets dark and manages to be dedicated and motivated enough to still go ride.
For most waking up that early to go to work the thought of riding is the last to come to mind. Many would just want to go home and be complete zombies. Every time I get the chance to ride with Albert he is absolutely killing it, whether it be a crazy move that makes me shake my head in disbelief, or kickflips and other funny looking tricks that makes me die laughing.
This dedication makes me have a great respect for Albert. Albert may just be another guy that rides but there are many people that could learn from his life. Don’t give up on what ever you love doing whether it be because you were too lazy or, you couldn’t stick it out or, because you were afraid.
Keep shreddin’!
